Cracking establishment, great food and friendly atmosphere .

A bit disappointed in our stop at Jackos. Food reviews were good so we wanted to eat here. Kitchen timings were posted on Google as open till 9pm. We got there about 8.30pm and were told we were too late for food . This was actually a silver lining as it would have been dreadful to eat while the Karaoke was screeching away....

During our holiday in Lossiemouth, we dined at Jackos with our dog for lunch. The food and service were both outstanding. I ordered fish and chips with a side of coleslaw and onion rings (the onion rings were possibly the best I've ever had, they were large and had a delicious sweet flavor). The fish and chips were also excellent, as was the coleslaw. My partner enjoyed the mac and cheese as well. We were pleased to find that Jackos is dog-friendly as an added bonus. Overall, we would highly recommend this restaurant.
