What Mark Brown dislikes about Forest Roe Fish And Chips:
I was charged 11 pounds for a standard fish and chips. They placed it in the container upside down, and when I returned home, I found that it was burnt on the underside. The food was terrible. View all feedback.

I was really disappointed with this restaurant. My friend and I were excited to eat here after a long day with the kids. However, my fish was cold and soggy, and the burgers were dry and overcooked. The portion sizes for the chips were very small. Additionally, the meal ended up being more expensive than we had anticipated. Overall, it was a greasy experience.

The fish and chips were pricey and greasy. I would not recommend it as the fish is pre-cooked and fried twice, resulting in a heavy batter and soggy potatoes. I suggest trying other places for a better taste of authentic English street food.

Usually excellent fish and chips but occasionally not quite perfect, hence the 4 stars

Extremely disappointing experience. My friend and I were looking forward to a nice meal after a long day with the children. However, my fish was served cold and soggy, and the burgers were dry and overcooked. The portions of chips were also quite small. To make matters worse, the bill ended up being much higher than anticipated. Overall, the food was lackluster and overpriced.

The fish and chips at this restaurant are overpriced and greasy! I would not recommend it because the fish is pre-cooked and fried twice. You can barely taste the fish as the batter and potatoes overpower the dish, which is almost unacceptable. I suggest trying other places where you can enjoy authentic and delicious English street food.

Got a large cod and it STANK of ammonia! I looked it up and that means the fish was rancid when they cooked it.
