We are very confused about all the 5* reviews!! Just visited this pub for lunch. The food was awful…the burger I ordered was literally a burger in a dry bun with a few chips thrown on the side. My husband ordered a ploughman’s…for nearly £20 he got an apple chopped in half, one measly bit of Brie, one slice of ham, and salad that hadn’t been washed. This charming pub is picturesque with its horses and donkeys, but could benefit from a more upscale clientele.
The menu is very intriguing. This restaurant is a hidden gem in the New Forest!
This pub is located in a fantastic spot, offering a wide variety of food options and even has a new forest ice cream truck outside.
