What Martin Robertson dislikes about Cartwheel Inn:
really nice traditional inn just on the road from where I live. sad that coronavirus stop my visit. next visit I will have a traditional English curry if this will have a traditional sunday on the menu otherwise. I look forward to another band or singer in the garden and become a cork or two pop. hic! View all feedback.
I had a fantastic second visit to this restaurant, with the same outstanding service and delicious food. I will definitely be returning soon. The cost per person is £100 or more. The food, service, and atmosphere are all rated as a perfect 5. I highly recommend trying the Traditional Fish and Chips and the Eton Mess Cheesecake.
We made a reservation to eat at this restaurant on a Saturday night and it was amazing. There were four of us, including a baby and a dog, and we were greeted warmly. The food was exceptional! Our starters, mains, desserts, cocktails, and wine were all delicious and served promptly. In summary, this is a fantastic pub run by outstanding people. The average cost per person is between £40-50. Food rating: 5/5.
This restaurant is amazing! The food was top-notch, I ordered the festive menu which included partridge as a starter and venison as a main dish and it was fantastic. The staff were friendly and took the time to chat with me. With the cozy log burner glowing, I could have easily stayed there all afternoon. The price per person was between £30-40. Overall, I would give the food, service, and atmosphere a perfect 5-star rating.
Brilliant find A country pub to die for. Staff are absolutely great; friendly, attentive and efficient. Chef is pretty special too; a well balanced and fairly priced menu, which tastes good and is served with a smile. Service: 5
