The waiter took his time explaining ev... read more We came across this restaurant while walking around the city. As soon as we sat down the staff was so polite and helpful. The waiter took his time explaining every detail of the menu in English and our food was exceptionally delicious. The wine was excellent and so were the desserts, but all of it was capped by the fantastic service.

Home made breads and breadsticks, smiling service people and great tastes that so many of the locals are enjoying. Don’t miss out on this small gem of a place! Excellent food at reasonable prices.

There are a lot of bars to choose from in Foligno. We generally get good food and good service at a reasonable price here. I would describe Umami Bar as hot and... read more There are a lot of bars to choose from in Foligno. We generally get good food and good service at a reasonable price here. I would describe Umami Bar as hot and cold. Sometimes the food and service are excellent and, at other times, as was the case this evening, the A Team was not on board. We ordered wine and basically received a stingy pour. The Power Bowl was OK but I would never order it again (lot 's of rice). I rarely have the feeling in Foligno that I 'm being treated like a tourist (which I 'm not), but tonight I wasn 't feeling the love at Umami Bar. We will certainly return there in the future; however, I think this establishment is better than what we experienced this evening.
