Food was delicious and the setting is perfect whether you sit outside or enjoy the absolutely beautiful inside dining area with traditional Umbrian arches with modern touches. We arrived at the beginning of white truffle season and enjoyed an amazing tartare and egg and truffle dish for our appetizers. Pasta and main dishes were also well done. The wine list is extensive due to the strong partnership with the enoteca next door. Well done, be sure to prebook.

So different and a lovely su... read more We were in a Globus tour group and had optional dinner here. Particular favorite was a pasta in a citrusy sauce—orange if I recall. So different and a lovely surprise flavor. I asked for the recipe and was told it was an in-house original and I could find it online. I am still searching nearly a year later for Molina’s Pasta!

When there was a breez... read more Our meal at Il Molino was an optional experience enjoyed by most of our tour group. We all chose to eat outside, as the weather was nice. When there was a breeze, it was wonderful. No breeze, it was somewhat stuffy, but that wasn 't the fault of the restaurant. The first course was excellent: stuffed pepper with eggplant, zucchini, topped by melted white cheese. The second course was pasta with a cream sauce, which was really good. The third course was more pasta, with mushrooms, which I like but my wife doesn 't. Fourth was a small salad, which we didn 't eat. Next came a breaded and baked chicken dish, which was good. Finally we had a dessert of a small round chocolate pastry filled with liquid chocolate and covered with chocolate sauce and a little vanilla ice cream/gelato. My wife called it death by chocolate. It was delicious. The service was excellent, and a good time was had by all.
