The staff, especially Mr Chaubert, were very kind in assisting to... read more We visited Hotel Lons for two nights as part of a visit to the cave of Niaux and Foix castle. The staff, especially Mr Chaubert, were very kind in assisting to reserve a taxi and make dinner reservations. The hotel is very well-located walking distance from the train station and is in an area with many restaurants, shops, and attractions that are within walking distance as well. The rooms are comfortable and pretty. The breakfast is plentiful and delicious, and the patio overlooking the river is a peaceful place to enjoy coffee or drinks. We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Hotel Lons and hope to make a return visit next summer to see the sights that we missed this time.

The quality of service is excellent. The hotel is located right in the center of Foix. Although there are a few paid parking spaces in front of the hotel, it's quite easy to find free parking within a 5-minute walk. I recommend it.

It's a very welcoming hotel with a touch of... read more Our daughter gave us a 3-night stay at this hotel as a gift. It was a wonderful present that we thoroughly enjoyed. It's a very welcoming hotel with a touch of vintage charm. Its location is perfect. It's in the city's historic center and on the banks of the Ariège River. A great base for exploring Foix. The staff was incredibly friendly and we felt very comfortable. The room we stayed in, with its river view, was spacious and comfortable. In this room, the headboard featured a starry sky that lit up. Since the weather was beautiful those days, we were able to have breakfast on a terrace by the river. A very pleasant experience. There was also a bar service in the evenings. Thanks to the kindness of Alban, Maëlle, and the rest of the staff, we had an unforgettable stay. Highly recommended.
