Experience at Jongro offers an authentic Korean BBQ experience with standout dishes like galbi and soondubu. The staff is friendly and the service is generally good, despite some minor delays. While prices are on the higher side, the quality of ingredients justifies the cost. The ambiance is intimate, with each table equipped with a gas stove for grilling. Highlights include the delicious marinated meats and sides that complement the main dishes well. Some minor drawbacks include a lackluster kimchi appetizer and occasional busyness leading to longer wait times. Overall, a great spot for a tasty Korean BBQ meal with friends and family.

Though they were super busy on this very first day of the year. The servers did their best to provide such a welcoming experience for us. The food is great too.

The staff is friendly and provides good service at this restaurant. The prices for the food are a bit high, but overall it is a good experience with a good selection and tasty food. I recommend the Kalbi over the ribeye and the scallion pancake. The spicy tofu soup and seafood noodle soup are also must-try dishes. However, the kimchi as an appetizer was disappointing and lacked variety. I would definitely return, especially with a big group. The restaurant is also kid-friendly.

I used to travel without eating Korean food a few years ago, but maybe it's my age now, because I couldn't muster the courage to eat in Manhattan. As I wandered through Korea Town, I found a famous restaurant and I was very satisfied. The meat was tender and not too greasy, and there was a lot of it for the price. I was surprised at the price in dollars, but the servers were friendly, the atmosphere was lovely, and the food was authentic and delicious. I highly recommend it. I love the galbi, bulgogi, and galbitang. I might not be able to eat Korean BBQ in Korea because it's more expensive there.

Seafood pancake was the best I've ever had. The side dishes were delicious. The galbi meat was 48 bucks, but the portion was not huge : For 48.00, I expected a good portion....it was about 15 small pieces...Overall, a good experience will surely go back...
