The atmosphere is a... read more There is such a wide variety of items on the buffet. Even if you're a picky vegetarian like me, there are so many vegetables to choose from. The atmosphere is amazing! The only two reasons for a 4 not a 5 star is #1: there used to to be a larger selection for desserts like different cakes pies. Hint: if the restaurant would make smaller portions, then maybe not so much would get wasted. #2: There was a 1.5 hour wait. Yes, it was Mother's Day, but when I called the restaurant, I was told that there was only a 25 minute wait. Well, by the time we got there, we didn't want to take the risk of going somewhere else for an even longer wait. Also, keep in mind that you have to go get your own drinks.

One thing I would try and work on is the shrimp though, they seemed to be undercooked. My guess is that on other days, the food here is delicious (judging by other reviewers).

They say it was a big party before me. 5 people is not big, 10 is !!! How long does it take to prepare 2 biscuits and gravy anda side of bacon? Breakfast is the easiest quickest meal to prepare. Do better!! I want be back! You been open now long enoughto handle the people who come in to dine with you!

The waitress met our needs but... read more My brother was visiting from Texas, so we decided to give McClain's a try. Every employee we met was friendly as well as helpful. The waitress met our needs but was not intrusive. We ordered the buffet, and the food was well-prepared. My brotherloved the meatloaf, and I thought the cheesecake was scrumptious. As a side note, I tried the locally produced honey. It isdelicious.
