The dining experience was exceptional, with fast service and a spotless atmosphere. For $29, we enjoyed coffee, soda, a fully loaded omelette with toast and hash browns, sausage, and a cheese sandwich with eggs, sausages, and cheese - all served in generous portions. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Red Line Diner:
The Red Line Diner is conveniently located right off the highway, making it a great spot for a quick meal on the go. Despite being quite busy, we were surprised to find ample seating inside that could accommodate a large number of people. Our food arrived promptly, with the brisket sandwich being a standout dish. However, the po' boy shrimp sandwich fell short, as it only had 4 small shrimp that could easily fit on h... View all feedback.
Never had a bad experience here in the 11 years my family has been stuffing our faces for family date night, birthdays, midnight pancake-breakfast, congratulations-on-any-and-every-thing. Huge menu, fair pricing for the value, always fast and politely served. Gy-normous portions. Right on Rte9 can’t miss it. Lots of parking. Wheelchair accessible. Enjoyed their 2021 Christmas Eve feast of 7 fishes. The pre-fixed menu that night was priced just right with serving sizes enough to take 1/2 home for a full meal again, which is usual for most of their everyday meals.
On February 18 I was traveling and stoped at this restaurant for a dinner. My bill was $35.57 (after taxes). I wrote $7.00 as a tip (more than 20% before taxes). When I was walking to my car, I received 2 notifications from my credit card: one for $35.57, the second one for 12.00 (both charged by Red Line). I walked back to the restaurant and asked to speak to the manager. The gentleman to whom I asked said he was the manager. I explained what happened, asking him to correct the amount 12 to 7). He said I should wait a couple of days because they do a pre-authorization and later on they adjust according to the tip the customer writes in the bill. After many days I checked in my credit card statement, it now shows only one payment to Red Line of $47.57, which is the result of 35.57 12. I had to contest it to my bank. I'm VERY UPSET with this restaurant (obviously the amount is small, but that is not how restaurants should treat customers regarding adjustments done on bills tips).
I found yet another gem if you're someone that travels to and from new york. The Red line diner has amazing food in an upscale greasy spoon setting. The food was so good the first day that I went back and ate there the next day for lunch. They had amazing corned beef sandwich as well as an amazing burger and you can go upscale from there. The menu caters from everybody to the Burger lover to find dining lovers. You will not regret stopping at this place and the pricing is quite fair for what you get.
Nice diner! Good food, great service, reasonably priced. I had oatmeal, which comes with sides of brown sugar, golden raisins, and slivered almonds. A side of sliced fresh strawberries costs an extra $1.95, but is worth it. They really are fresh and were really good.
Great food and service. much to choose. that was dessert was great. the staff quickly cleared the tables to keep the waiting time for nothing.
