Reviews - Kinda Kozy
Reviews summary
Nestled in Fishkill, this restaurant presents a mixed dining experience. While the atmosphere is beautifully decorated and the service is noted for its friendliness and professionalism, the food quality has drawn criticism. Some guests report stale appetizers, overcooked fish, and slow kitchen service, which detract from the overall enjoyment. However, there is a strong recommendation for certain dishes like the Kozy Burger and chocolate mousse cake. Patrons appreciate the attentive staff, particularly during less busy hours, but caution about the inconsistent quality and pacing of the kitchen. Overall, it's a venue with potential, yet room for improvement.

Did not like our experience here. Food was not good. Kitchen was extremely slow. Should have left and gone to another restaurant. Wasn't just our table, either there was another table nearby where it was clear that the diners were very unhappy and the kitchen didn't know how to handle it. Our server was very young and inexperienced, so we didn't have the best service, but props to him for trying so hard, definitely n... View all feedback.

Incredible food, delicious taste, beautiful presentation, clean and cozy atmosphere. Service was 1000/10. I had their Lobster Mac entree. As a mac and cheese enthusiast and maker, this was hands down the best mac and cheese I have ever tasted. The cheese was extremely cheesy, creamy, and stringy; had the meatiest lobster pieces I have ever seen and lots of it; and such a delicious taste. Highly recommend. Service: Dine in

Our server was very young and inexperienced, so we didn't have the best service, but props to him for trying so hard, definitely not his fault! Atmosphere was okay, I suppose looks nice but music was awful and intrusive. When we saw how empty the dining room was it should have clued us in about what to expect. Even more baffling that the kitchen was so slow with so few patrons. Regret that we ate here when there are so many other dining options nearby.

I had a very disappointing experience at this restaurant. I ordered a cocktail and mozzarella garlic bread, but the bread was stale. I informed the owner about this issue, and in response, she took my bread and drink away after I declined to order something else. She even threatened to call the authorities if I didn't pay for what she took. Despite my complaints, she continued to accuse me of being in the wrong. I wouldn't recommend this place at all.
I visited Feeling Kinda Kozy on a Tuesday night in August, and I was truly impressed. The atmosphere was beautiful, and although it was quiet when I arrived at the bar around 6 PM, more patrons started coming in later. The bartender was fantastic—despite being the only one handling drinks and serving both at the bar and tables, she was always attentive, ready to take orders and answer questions about the drinks. While she did an amazing job, I would recommend having at least one more staff member to ensure smoother service; this would benefit both the bartender and the customers. The food was incredible as well; I had the burrata, and it looked just as delicious in person as it does in the pictures. Next time I'm in the city, I'll definitely stop by again!
