our favorite place we ate so well in flour, we went back twice. in the center of the city, but it did not feel touristy. amazingly fresh pasta (we have the pappardelle, cacio e pepe, and zucchini flower ravioli) and steak (very rare, as traditional.) incredible tiramisu. if we make it back to florenz, it will be our first station. Sincere tavern, good food and abundant, friendly staff
The steak was good. The pasta wasn't good. The buratta was good. The soup was bad. Service was good and the ambiance was also good.
Nice place with quirky decor. Sliced beef was a bit rarer than what I personally prefer. The mascarpone with strawberries was heavenly.
What a superb find! This is the 3rd year we have been for dinner, but you can also sit outside with a glass of wine and delicious nibbles. Tucked in a side street off Santa Maria Novella you couldn't imagine what a great atmosphere and fantastic food could be behind the door. Not big, but packed, so wise to book. My main course of ricotta/marjoram stuffed raviolini in blue cheese and almond sauce was outstanding, presented imaginitively. My partner's beef fillet with porcini was incredible. The tiramisu was honestly one of the best ever! Everything is homemade and the chef deserves high praise for getting out so many perfect dishes from a fairly small kitchen with only a couple of assistants. The waiting staff are great too. This place is a must.
Best cacio e pepe I've tried in Florence. Also, try the cheesecake for dessert! Standard pricing for Florence, pasta is very reasonable. Partner tried the boar and very much enjoyed it. Nice atmosphere and staff. Recommend booking as it is quite small and usually busy.
