Expensive for a couple of soft drinks. There are plenty other cafes not too far away where you can stop for the same drink, a few euro cheaper.
This place has ample space to sit inside or out and the traditional espresso bar area for locals having their morning coffee. The selection of pastries and sandwiches was extensive and everything looked delicious. We had a cannoli each and shared a cheese and ham croissant (accompanied with espressos). Everything was delicious and fresh and it was a nice place to sit outside and watch the world go by. The staff were friendly and really helpful. It started our first morning in Florence perfectly and was a lovely experience.
Caffè Libertà, in Piazza della Libertà in Florence, is one of those places where you pop by just for a coffee and then find yourself enjoying a proper break. A well-kept establishment, a pleasant atmosphere, and well-made products. One detail that makes the difference is the service: attentive without being intrusive, with the right smile even during rush hour. A special thanks to Sofia for her kindness and helpfulness: it 's the kind of welcome that makes you want to return. Recommended for a quiet breakfast, a study break, or a quick coffee made just right.
