Before climbing up ste steep hill to Eze castle we had a stop near the bus station in the crossing. One of the best croixxants I have ever eaten. Nice service.Relatively expensive as everything in Eze..
Without doubt a good choice for breakfast, lunch and diner in Eze Village. Easy acces, good food, excellent pizza, friendly owner Michel. Fair prices.
We called in here for lunch, following recommendation. I had the three course menu du jour, which was excellent: a delicious beetroot starter, pigeon with ratatouille, and a very nice lemon meringue pie, washed down with a beer. Unfortunately there was a mix up about my daughter's choice. She was brought what looked like a standard pizza, whereas she had asked for a Monagasque one. The waiter said this was what she had. It had tomato and olive on, not mentioned in the menu description. She said it was light dough, and a fairly standard pizza otherwise. Very nice clean toilets.Restaurant conveniently located just opposite the bus stop form Nice, and down to Eze station.
Nice friendly place, situated just at the bottom of the hill from the old village. We also stayed in the accommodation here, right beside the restaurant/bar. All good!
We hiked up to Eze from the train station, wandered the town and then was looking for a lunch point before carrying on across the aqueduct in order to climb up Mount Bastide (before returning to the station by the sea). This was a great find the staff are very kind (and funny) and the pizza were of good value with a nice thin crust. We shared a carafe of rose and had coffees before moving on. A definite recommendation, especially if you don't have the budget for La Chèvre d'Or!
