This resort is the crown jewel of Èze. If you love the charm of the village, imagine actually staying inside of it. Many of the rooms and suites are distributed throughout the medieval cobblestone streets, so you are fully immersed in the landscape. It feels like having a piece of the village all to your own. While day trippers can walk the public areas, as a guest, you gain exclusive access to the stunning cliffside gardens. These private grounds are vast and can take hours to fully explore, offering hidden sculptures and the most breathtaking views of Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat. Just wear good shoes and be prepared for plenty of stairs. The terrain is steep, but every step is a photo opportunity. The combination of world-class Michelin dining and the history of the chateau makes this a bucket-list experience. It is expensive, yes, but for the exclusive access and the view, it is absolutely worth every penny. DON'T miss it if you are in southern France.
Stunningly beautiful. Rooms were large with an amazing view. Dined at Bistro whose ambience was nothing special but the food was terrific. Great place to spend a day or two.
This food was below average, part of my meal was cold my beef could have walked off the plate when ordered medium rare. They said nothing to the women at the table next to us that was FaceTiming her toddler on speaker for no less than 10 minutes. Certainly will not need to back to this restaurant
This was a superb lunch experience from beginning to end in every respect. On arrival our car was taken from us parking is a nightmare locally but not if you are staying/dining at the hotel. The walk through the grounds and up the restaurant is lovely. We were slightly early but were welcomed and shown to our window table with “that” view. It is quite something. We had pre chosen the long tasting menu which looked interesting. Mrs had a glass of Krug (she has no idea what it costs! and I had a local rose to start with. The sommelier came to see us and I asked if there was a wine pairing offering for the long menu. He offered a ‘premium’ or local offering. We took the local wines why not?! Every single wine was superb and they even gave us a blind tasting in a black glass so you couldn’t see what was in it. I won’t spoil the outcome but it made us laugh a fun thing to do. Every course was devine. Every single member of staff (and there are a lot of them! was delightful all smiling, chatty and they all made our ‘experience’ one to remember. We were there for 3 thoroughly enjoyable hours. The bill was reassuringly steep but I thought it was decent value for the quality of everything. Loos fab! There are some poor reviews on here I have no idea what these people are talking about I’d say just go! Take your time and enjoy it all.
