Reviews - Brickside Grille
Reviews summary
Despite being regulars at Brickside, our recent experience was disappointing. A rude and inattentive waitress left us waiting an hour for cold food and ignored simple requests. Understaffing affected service quality, though the oysters were a highlight. Another table had better luck celebrating a birthday, receiving comped dessert. While the prime rib dinner and attentive server impressed, disappointment arose from running out of prime rib early. Mixed reviews also mentioned limited menu options due to the pandemic and noise disturbances. Overall, Brickside's inconsistent service and quality hint at room for improvement.

We hadn't visited the restaurant in a few years, and we were delighted with our experience. The food was expertly prepared, and the clam chowder was among the best I've ever tasted. Our server was fantastic; we chatted for a bit, and he was very engaging. The manager also stopped by, which was a nice touch. We definitely plan to return soon instead of waiting years!
The service and staff were outstanding. The breakfast buffet is great for seafood enthusiasts, offering a selection of oysters, shrimp cocktails, crab cake sliders, salmon, and more. However, I was disappointed that coffee and juice were not included in the buffet, resulting in an extra charge for those drinks. Overall, the variety of breakfast foods was good, including eggs, sausages, bacon, and desserts. Unfortunately, the meats and crab cake sliders were mostly cold by the time we returned to our table to enjoy them.
We started with the Nachos…which I think are the best around! We enjoyed them. We also had the fried oysters which were a little undercooked so not so good. My friend had the blackened prime rib which was delicious! My husband had a chicken sandwich which he enjoyed and I had the NY Strip special which was okay. Our waiter was excellent! He was very attentive and fun!

I've been a fan of Brickside Grille for many years, enjoying their consistently excellent food, service, and atmosphere. However, during my latest visit, while the service remained outstanding, the food was disappointing and didn’t meet my expectations. We both ordered the pear and blue cheese salad, which was visually unappealing and primarily made up of lettuce. To make matters worse, no bread was served with our meal. The quesadilla was excessively greasy and left me feeling a bit nauseous. Despite this experience, we plan to give Brickside Grille another chance, believing this was just an unusual off-day. Here’s hoping for a better outcome next time! Food: 2 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

We had a wonderful time dining outside on a lovely evening! Even though it was Thursday, the restaurant was as bustling as it is on weekends, yet we were seated right away. The live music was perfectly balanced, providing a pleasant backdrop that made conversation easy without the need to raise our voices. Our server, Victoria, was charming and extremely attentive.
Brickside Grille consistently provides outstanding experiences, and last Sunday was no exception. We had our meal on the patio on a beautiful day, which was made even better by our server, Dakota. Dakota's cheerful personality, positive attitude, and excellent service really enhanced our visit. It’s impressive how much a server can impact the dining experience, and Dakota made ours truly memorable. The food is always excellent; I highly recommend the jumbo crab roll—it's one of my favorites and absolutely delicious.
Beautiful evening, we decided to book a reservation and request a table outside. We had a group of six. The server added 2 chairs to a four top. We asked for a larger table and she said we have a lot of reservations this evening. We made it work, but there were several empty larger tables and outside is first come first serve.
Brickside is our go-to home-based restaurant. Service is great. Staff and management are always well trained, pleasant, and helpful. Crabcakes are the best. Tonight, the blackened prime rib was a bit overpowering with seasoning, but it was still quite good. Once again, Brickside tonight was another homerun, but not quite a grandslam.

I visited this restaurant for the first time and enjoyed the great atmosphere. The service was a bit slow, which I anticipated during dinner hours. The appetizers were excellent, especially the shells. My crab-stuffed shrimp was delicious! However, I didn’t feel it quite lived up to a 5-star rating. Overall, it's a nice place to dine.
I have enjoyed Brickside for well over 10 years. Great spot especially if you work in that area. Lost a star on our last visit, however. Our food took well over an hour and it was not busy nor was the order complex. Also quite a high bill for lunch, although I suppose everything is expensive these days. Usually a great spot, especially for seafood. Would still recommend
I recently hosted my baby shower at Brickside, and I can’t praise the experience enough! The entire process, from my communications with Carter, the event manager, to the accommodations and the wait staff on the day of the event, was simply fantastic. We had a preset menu featuring four entrees for guests to choose from, and everyone had wonderful things to say about the food and service. Our servers, Lisa and Brianna, along with the day-of manager, Kate, were exceptional and ensured that everything ran smoothly. I highly recommend Brickside for both casual dining and for hosting your next event!
We haven't been here long, now I remember why. It's just not my cup of tea. The service was good, the food was good, not great just good. (We ordered wings for an app, they were good, 9 in order, but we were told ten. You get celery and blue cheese. The area around him has grown a lot since our last visit and it seems to be a bit eclectic so when your cup of tea checks the joint. I feel the prices are a bit high for what you get, but to judge that for you. #kulinary mafia approved
