Understaffing affected service quality, though the oysters were a highlight. Another table had better luck celebrating a birthday, receiving comped dessert. While the prime rib dinner and attentive server impressed, disappointment arose from running out of prime rib early. Mixed reviews also mentioned limited menu options due to the pandemic and noise disturbances. Overall, Brickside's inconsistent service and quality hint at room for improvement.
Nice place, good food. Wait staff seems thin. No knock on them, they were hustling but it took a long time to get simple things (like a check and then for the cash to be picked up...about minutes. I wound up leaving it on the table Not their fault and by no means a reflection other than like many places, staff shortages are really taxing those who are working beyond reasonable limits
Here once every few months we enjoy the outside seating
Like most restaurants, due to the pandemic, the menu choices were limited. We miss our favorite entrees that are no longer available. Ordered fish and chips, delicious but only small pieces of fish. Waiter cleared my plate, without asking, I hadn't finished eating
We had the wonderful experience of al fresco dining on a beautiful summer evening with a talented guitar player providing entertainment. The service was accommodating of our desire to enjoy our drinks and dinner was very good
We usually love Brickside but we had a horrible experience. The waitress was rude, forgot many things, and we waited over an hour for our food with no apology or explanation. Food came cold and simple requests like ketchup and a coffee were ignored. Honestly felt like she didn’t want to be there and didn’t want us there. So disappointing for a normally good restaurant
