What Leanne Walsh doesn't like about The Snug:
Looked lovely from the outside but once in it really let us down. Seemed to be plenty of staff but the tables were dirty so we asked for one to be cleaned. Possibly should have just found somewhere else to eat but as we were...already in we persevered. The food took ages to arrive and unfortunately it was not worth the wait. Such a shame. read moreAlthough the restaurant looked appealing from the outside, the experience was disappointing for several diners. Dirty tables, slow service, and subpar food quality left many feeling let down. On a positive note, the cafe was praised for being family-friendly, with a welcoming atmosphere and plenty of toys for children to enjoy. The roast dinner special received high marks for good value and generous portions. However, issues such as slow service, lack of dessert options, and disappointing food quality marred the overall dining experience at this establishment. Despite mixed reviews, the friendly staff and cozy ambiance were highlighted as redeeming qualities.
Relax in the snug, it is a large family place ideal for young families and there is a lot to keep them all occupied while they have eating or a cuppa and cake....
