This restaurant is perfect in every way - from the outstanding customer service and attention to detail, to the cozy family-run atmosphere and consistently exceptional food. I wouldn't want to spend my money anywhere else. Despite never having met them, I feel like we're friends due to the warmth and friendliness of the staff. It's a unique gem that should definitely be tried. I'm curious to know where they find such large cod that they have to snap it to fit it in the box. Delicious chips cooked just like my grandmother used to make back in the old country, with enough for both me and my mother in one order. The fish was delicious and generously sized. We love this fish and chip shop, it has become our go-to spot for Friday night dinner.
My son just brought home some Cod and Chips Absolutely delicious those Portuguese sure know how to cook fish The chips were good as well The cod was huge Gone to be a regular with the size of the portion.
Never had a bad meal from this place and the fact they GF all the time means my wife can enjoy fish and chips whenever the mood takes her. Everything is cooked well, the fish is of a decent size and the service always good. Best in Exeter.
