Wore ourselves out today trying to furnish and equip a bedroom from scratch as well as wandering through the endless useful cheap stuff section. Inevitably we needed refreshment. The cafeteria area is vast airy and has relaxed but open neat simple feel. We queued thinking... View all feedback.
What idcus doesn't like about Ikea:
It's cheap, it's not a restaurant, it's exactly as you see it, you have to queue and pay! We had veggie meatballs with chips £3.95 and fish and chips with peas £4.75 and as we went on a Friday we had free tea and coffee... View all feedback.
Watch out. They have a very tricky returns policy even with receipt but no bar code on the object.
Ate lunch at around 13.30. I can honestly say that I can't ever remember receiving such an horrendous meal. Fish, chips and musy peas. Apart from the peas all the food was stone cold and the fish, when opened had grey flesh not white. Had it died of old age? It's cheap but an awful meal even if it had been free....
I like the food and eating environment here. Today, I had 12 Swedish meatballs with mash potatoes and green beans. Those were delicious with gravy and cranberry sauce. I noticed that kid’s eat free on National Holidays when a main entree is purchased. It would be a great place to bring kids to go shopping at IKEA on National Holidays!!!
The restaurant employee dealt with only white people looking for napkins and utensils and kept us standing in front of the counter for a long time without any workers coming to pay. We were offended and had no choice but to think they were racist.
Swedish meatballs and chicken tenders were delicious. Service was fast. Has plenty of high chairs for toddlers. We always eat lunch here when we visit Ikea.
