I normally like this place. An excellent selection of rooftop tables and ambience. Today, however, the restaurant arbitrarily decided that no one on the mezzanine rooftop level (right by the bar) could order food. Inside guests could. Top-level guests could. The sudden decision (around 1:20 pm) made no sense to us, wasn’t explained well, and resulted in some of our party having food and the other half being hangry. W... View all feedback.
After taking a carriage tour, we decided to have lunch at this restaurant. We ordered grilled snapper and a crab cake burger. The snapper was fresh and delicious, while the burger was decent but not my top choice. The crab cake had too much mayonnaise for my liking. The crab soup was flavorful, with visible crab meat, but I found it to be a bit too salty.
This Charleston bar is highly recommended by locals for its cool atmosphere and multiple levels offering a variety of live music options. It's definitely worth a visit.
You can't beat the She-Crab soup at this Charleston restaurant. I highly recommend trying the Shrimp Grits and Bread Pudding as well. The atmosphere is fantastic.
This is a great restaurant with lots of seating options including some really fun rooftop seating areas overlooking the Charleston City Market. I had the shrimp tacos and my friend ordered the mahi mahi tacos. We both loved our meals perfect amount of heat and flavor. The prices were reasonable and the waitress was friendly and kind.
SO. MUCH. FUN. They had a man playing the saxophone to older hip-hop and R&B, he was amazing and brilliant. In another room they had a band and downstairs there was a band and a let's not forget the rooftop!! I was to busy having fun to take pics. Definitely a place for young and older.
