Hen House - Exeter

Visited on a girls night out. Saw good reviews on TripAdvisor. Restaurant was quiet. Menu was OK value with a selection of chicken based dishes. We ordered Prosecco they had to go buy some! The chicken burgers were tasty and the chips delicious!

The food at this restaurant is amazing and the service is extremely friendly. I can't wait to find a reason to return soon!

Delicious food, very generous portions, quiet as we were on the early shift but I imagine it buzzes when full. Will definitely return. Only other comment suggest tables are slightly repositioned so the person seated nearest the wall is not within close proximity of decorative wooden crates on wall (ouch!

I absolutely love the Henhouse, mainly because the staff are exceptional, friendly, and always willing to have a chat. The food is delicious and served in generous portions - I never leave feeling hungry! They also have a great variety of drinks available. On Fridays, they feature live music and offer an open slot for musicians to apply - and they even get paid for it. The music isn't too loud, so it doesn't interfere with conversation, and it's great to see a restaurant supporting local artists in this way. Their burgers are better than any gourmet options in town. I highly recommend this place.

I celebrated my son's 21st birthday at this restaurant. We were not disappointed - the food was excellent, the service was great, and the staff were friendly and attentive. We enjoyed our experience so much that we returned with friends two days later, and once again, it was excellent!
