The food takes some time to arrive, but this is expected and even written in the menu that if you want faster food you can go elsewhere : . But the wait pays off, delicious food with a very nice house wine!

The best bitoque we had in weeks. Very good made in the original way. Staff was friendly even though they didn’t really speak English. The total bill for two with starters and everything was only €36.

On our short trip to Évora we decided to eat here for lunch and enjoyed everything about the restaurant. The staff welcomed us warmly and happily catered for our son who enjoyed ‘the tenderest turkey ever eaten’. We chose the fish and prawn pasta which was in a delicious sauce with coriander; fragrant and full of plumpcious prawns and flavoursome fish. Definitely worth a visit!
