The Lava Cookie Skillet while it had melted chocolate in the center, it was so hard it needed a hammer to break apart. Literally it was that hard. The last time I tried to-go at Denny's it was several years ago and I had the same experience. I thought I would give it another try. I would recommend dine in only.

The waitstaff can be inconsistent; sometimes you encounter someone with less-than-stellar customer service skills (rude or inattentive), but at other times, the staff is friendly and attentive. However, the food has consistently been good every time I've visited. The cooks really know what they're doing! Plus, the value menu offers great, large portions at a low price, making it a perfect option if you're looking to dine out on a budget!
