I think they need to get a chief and change their menu because the pub is in a good spot. too much deep fried food and frozen cooked food. you have to pay extra to get some vegies or potato instead of deep fried chips, too much chutney or what ever on the steak sanger. could be a whole lot better. Place had great atmosphere, meals looked huge and great. Pool tables and all round great place to socialise. Bar staff were lovely and will be back next time I'm in town
A group of seven we visited on Wednesday have just disappeared. the meal times were given average $30 price tag. the balinese chicken curry was tasty, but it has to be used the pieces of “Bark” to serve the court before. Also...what looked like a mint chutney served as a guide was in the did minced jalapeño chiliies, really, with a Balinese wicy curry. but the real disappointment was the waitress who wanted to discuss my interpretation of “roh” when it came to the duckbrust. if a customer asks to give some feedback to the kitchen on a teller, which is what the waitress should do, they deliver this feedback. does not accuse the customer not to know what means raw.
The service was friendly and quick. The food was delicious. We enjoyed the porterhouse steak, which was tender and cooked perfectly, served with fresh vegetables. The tempura nori lachs was also crisp and fresh, and absolutely amazing.
