It's wonderful to see so many community members choosing this spot for their caffeine fix.

I was at the cafe three times already. The second visit I asked for a scone and I was given a muffin which I did not think was a big deal, mistakes are made. Th... read more I was at the cafe three times already. The second visit I asked for a scone and I was given a muffin which I did not think was a big deal, mistakes are made. The second time , which was a couple of days ago, I asked for a scone and coffee. While I was sitting at the table I was called out from the tilt and told that my payment did not go through. I replied that I saw it being approved but I offered to pay again using another card, just in case I was wrong. While having my coffee, I was checking my accounts to see what happened. The lady at the tilt saw me and came to ask if I was ok. I wasn 't of course enjoying my coffee now.I explained that I am almost sure that I paid twice and explained her the reasons. She then said that she trusted me and paid me back the amount I said I paid the first time , which included a tip. I said Thank you ! Her reply was I wish someone would do the same to me . I did pay twice, my bank accounts are proof. What do you think about her comment? , it certainly did not sit well with me.That is not a cafe I would go back to .PS: that second time the scone was not fresh
