The fried chicken at this restaurant is worth the drive alone - it's the best you'll find anywhere, just like your grandmother used to make! The place is small and gets busy quickly, so make sure to arrive early to secure a table.

Despite its misleading name, this restaurant offers delicious food with a straightforward southern buffet. While the selection may not be extensive, the fried chicken is exceptional and the vegetables are satisfying. The cornbread is perfectly done and the cake is moist and delectable.

This restaurant is a must-visit! Stop by and delight your taste buds at this hidden gem. The food here is absolutely delicious and cooked to perfection. You can enjoy the best fried chicken I've ever had each day, along with a daily rotating main dish. On Mondays, you can savor tender pork chops, on Wednesday indulge in the best country fried steak, and on Fridays enjoy golden brown fried catfish. There are always four sides available, as well as a salad bar and dessert options. Though the restaurant has short operating hours from 10:30 to 1:00, it is definitely worth the drive!

We visited Roadkill Cafe on a Tuesday and the restaurant was not very busy. After receiving our drinks we visited the buffet. The selection was good and the buffet appeared to be clean. The food was of acceptable quality and taste, though not as tasty as what we cook at home. The fried chicken was hot and tender. The vegetables were a bit of a disappointment as they were somewhat bland.I must say the employees were very friendly and made us feel comfortable.Note: Roadkill Cafe accepts cash or check but does not accept credit cards.
