While it's not very large, it's spacious enough for a fun time. The staff's dogs roam off-leash, so be ready for that and ensure your dogs are friendly. They offer food and drinks, but it's unfortunate that they didn't have iced tea and only serve pizza on weekends. However, the cheeseburger and fries were hot and tasty, and they have fountain drinks available. Overall, it’s a fantastic destination for your dogs to enjoy some beach time, especially since finding dog-friendly beaches can be quite challenging.

Tucked away from the usual tourist spots, it has a relaxed, local atmosphere. If you're a dog lover, this is the place for you, as there are plenty of furry friends around looking for some attention and food. It's also a great spot for families; kids (and adults) can enjoy swimming while you wait for your order. Speaking of waiting, it took about 20 minutes for our food, but the serene natural surroundings and friendly locals made the wait enjoyable. I have no issues waiting for freshly made, tasty food. However, I did notice that the online menu and website need some updates; the only menu shared by another reviewer was outdated. Our family is thoroughly enjoying the Orange Beach area, and we will definitely be returning to Pirates Cove!
