The chi... read more I had the home style chicken for lunch today. It was at noon. Not busy at all. 2 boneless chicken breasts, potatoes and gravy and broccoli and biscuits. The chicken breasts were very, very dry and difficult to eat. Seemed to have been sitting under a heat lamp or something for way too long. I had the white gravy on my mashed potatoes and there was only a tiny bit of gravy. At first I wasn't sure if there was any gravy at all. The biscuits were hard and dry. Broccoli was the only thing that was good. My partner had the pot roast and he enjoyed it but he said that the cornbread was not edible. He usually eats several pieces of cornbread and he didn't even finish the 1 piece he tried. Very disappointing for the price we paid. Food: 2 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Never seen the waitress except for once and we were ready... read more It took over 30 minutes to get our food. It was not busy. The bacon wasn't done and the food was cold. Never seen the waitress except for once and we were ready to go. This is the second time in past month and a half it has been so slow with the food, not busy and the food is cold. I won't go back to this cracker barrel as both times it has not been good. Only see the waitress once and can't get refills. As much money as it costs to go out and especially a sit down restaurant, you should see your waitress more than the one time to get your order and when you are ready to go. I was staying at the hotel next door and walked across and ordered my food to go I order two of the burger specials one with everything on it and the other with... read more I was staying at the hotel next door and walked across and ordered my food to go I order two of the burger specials one with everything on it and the other with every thing except the lettuce and cheese. I was told she would call my name when it was done. So I walked around waiting and purchased a few things. Sadly I did not make note of the time. I finally asked when it would be done? She said rather rudely it has been done for a while. Pointed to a set of shelves obviously made for to go orders. I was told nothing of this when I placed the order!! I paid for my meals and the merchandise I had picked up along the way and back to my hotel only to find the burgers tough and tastelessand not hot in anyway shape or form!!! On top of that the one burger that was supposed to have everything except cheese and lettuce and it had nothing at all!!! The picture below shows how sloppy the other burger was put together! She needs to b... read more We were there on Dec. 29th at around 12:30. Our waitress (unfortunately I don't remember her name) was Extraordinary! So was so relaxed and true! She needs to be recognized for her efforts to please the guests. I asked for french fries with my breakfast meal and she tried really hard to get what I asked for. But the kitchen told her no.
