Sylvesters is a family-run restaurant serving modern Scottish cuisine made with locally sourced ingredients. Situated on the south side of Edinburgh, near popular tourist attractions such as Greyfriars Bobby, Chambers Street Museum, The Meadows, The Festival Theatre, and Edinburgh University at George Square. Join us for a tasty meal in a relaxed setting, whether you're catching up with friends, dining before a show, or unwinding after work. Our pre-theatre menu is offered from 5-6pm, and we're open from 11.30am for coffee, lunch, and dinner, Monday-Saturday.

Decent bistro-style food in a light and airy space.
So about a week ago when walking to Uni I saw that what used to be the Pink Olive was being transformed and taken over.
The food was fantastic. My sister, brother-in-law, and I had a wonderful meal this evening and they also loved it. I highly recommend this restaurant!
The food at this restaurant is delicious. I tried the haggis bonbons, braised pork belly, and elderflower jelly and loved every single bite.
Top quality food and wine that cannot be beaten.
