While the food was well-prepared and served promptly, the lack of attentiveness from the staff made me feel uneasy.

The menu offers options for both a light snack and a full meal, and the cocktails are absolutely delicious. Although the service can be a bit slow at times, it doesn't detract from the overall fantastic atmosphere of this spot.

In the hour and a half we were t... read more My wife and I visited this restaurant for lunch. It wasn't very busy, but the service was exceptionally slow and not very good. In the hour and a half we were there, we were only served two drinks each, and had to ask for the second round. When the waitress brought our food after about 25 minutes, our glasses were empty but she did not offer us refills. We had to ask for condiments, and although she brought them, she walked away without checking on us. We had to ask for another round of drinks before she left again. By the time the drinks arrived, we had finished our meals, but she did not clear our plates or ask if we wanted anything else. We decided not to order the third cocktail from the deal we had planned to try. The chicken burger was dry, and the smokey burger was greasy. The fries were average, as was the whole meal. It's a shame, as we had planned to try the alcoholic milkshakes and other cocktails from the menu. Unfortunately, we won't be returning. The restaurant could have made more profit if the service had been better and they took advantage of opportunities to upsell. We visit Edinburgh regularly, and Sygn would have benefited more from our business with improved service.
