We went to dinner on Friday after work with friends. At first, we thought it was pretty quiet for a Friday night, but the atmosphere picked up. The ambiance was lovely, very cozy and intimate, and the waiter who served us was very friendly, not intrusive but informative when needed. For starters, we all had a variety of dishes: pate della casa, antipasto della casa, salad, and eggplant parmigiana. For mains, we had a T-bone steak, classic pasta dish, and a delicious chicken romano dish. Overall, we were satisfied with our meals, the seasoning, and the flavors were great. However, my friends who had the steak were not overly impressed. They felt that the texture of the meat suggested it might have been frozen at some point, rather than fresh. Despite this, we had a nice dining experience and would consider coming back. Next time, we may stick to the authentic Italian dishes as this is an Italian restaurant, and they do them very well.

This lovely, cozy Italian restaurant exudes a charming Italian atmosphere. We appreciated the traditional interior, which was a bit older but incredibly inviting. We felt very at ease and comfortable during our visit. The pizza was exceptional, made with fresh ingredients and offered at a reasonable price. We also enjoyed a carafe of house wine, which was delicious. The service was friendly and professional. We highly recommend this restaurant to anyone seeking a delicious meal with an authentic Italian ambiance.

My family had a wonderful dinner at this restaurant. The service was friendly and welcoming. The food was authentic and unpretentious Italian fare that reminded me of home-cooked meals. Everyone enjoyed their dishes and found them to be comforting and delicious. There was a great selection for children and the meals were tailored to their preferences. We would definitely dine here again!

Absolutely brilliant!! Even though almost every restaurant in Edinburgh was full, they found us a table for 2, The staff were great, great service and fun. Really lovely food, great prices too. We left there, having the nice guy shaking our hands, so full of glorious Italian food that we waddled. We will return.
