D.o.c Mediterranean Bistro - Edinburgh

I dined at D.O.C. for the first time on Sunday evening with a friend. The restaurant was bustling, but the service was efficient, and our waiter was attentive and very professional. We ordered a bottle of white wine that was reasonably priced, which was brought to our table along with a bottle of chilled water and our food orders. We each had two courses, and all of the dishes were beautifully presented, made with fresh ingredients, and incredibly tasty. It was a delightful evening overall, and we will definitely be returning.

We decided to have lunch here since the restaurant was conveniently located right in front of us. However, we found it quite expensive for what we received. Even though it was the weekend, there were very few customers dining in. The quality of the food was disappointing, and the portions were small. Unfortunately, we won’t be returning, and I definitely wouldn’t recommend it to my friends!

This restaurant is excellent, and I hope it continues to thrive!

I wanted to come here since it opened, what can I say. early booking menu £15 per head for 2 courses and a drink, they cannot go wrong. the mush and bruschetta for the starter followed with pizza and risotto all were delicious. highly recommended.

Got to get rid of the loud doorbell everytime that food is ready. Surely a single chime would do instead of what they have. It will be ok sitting in some parts of the restaurant but when you are right beside it it is really loud and off putting. Food great but service was slow to begin with but really picked up when the waiters changed as 1st person couldn’t be less interested.
