Went here for dinner one evening whilst visiting Edinburgh Ordered the usual steak I always order at my local CAU. The meat was cooked exactly as we have ordered and was very tasty. The sweet potato chips is a must try. Would highly recommend it.

After having trouble finding a quiet breakfast spot due to fully booked reservations, we were lucky enough to stumble upon Cau. The interior and exterior of the restaurant were charming, and we were pleased with the reasonable prices on the menu. I ordered the ultimate steak sandwich, and it exceeded all of my expectations. The steak was cooked perfectly and incredibly tender, and the sweet potato fries were equally delicious. The service was also excellent, with friendly and attentive staff. I would definitely give Cau a perfect 10/10 rating and would not hesitate to visit again in the future.
