Everything I've tried is absolutely delicious. But £9 for a bagel with facon, a hash brown, slice of tomato, slice of vegan cheese and some mayo is just too much except for a very occasional treat. Was still hungry after and had to get a wrap elsewhere. The wait for food was also quite long, but it was a Saturday morning. Not too many tables indoors, but lots outside! View all feedback.

Had really high hopes after reading the reviews, however we were left really disappointed. We ordered and were told if we waited on the seated area outside, they would be unable to let us know when our bagels were ready. 40 minutes later (standing around waiting) I hoped a great bagel would rescue the situation, however what I was presented with looked very bland and quite frankly overpriced too. Amazingly they find them directly on the beach promenade. large selection of different bagels with massive filling, also with coffee French side and brownies! good price for go out and absolutely delicious
Great vegan options and the portion size is good for the price. Definitely very delicious and worth the money. The staff was nice however it was very busy so they forgot to put sauerkraut in the hotdog like it’s support to have it, we asked twice but they kept forgetting, in the end we go it and gave us free brownies too for waiting. The inside was quite dirty but it was understandable as it was a very busy Saturday afternoon on a very sunny day. I’d still go there many times!
Sat in for a bagel and coffee on Wednesday. Coffee ok and chicken parma bagel tasty but difficult to eat as too much sauce and bagels seem to have got thinner from last visit. £8.50 a bit steep to be honest. Music blaring and male server behind counter rude and off hand with customers and in fact not particularly nice to fellow female staff member who he seemed to be training. Female server lovely and professional. Usually visit when in Portobello but will give it a miss now. Disappointing!
Filthy. The floor, the tables, the chairs, all filthy. They had overflowing bins right next to the counter. To top it off, I got a plain bagel (no butter, not even toasted) with two slices of packaged cheese. Will not be returning which is a shame, as it’s an attractive prospect, just dreadfully executed
We arrived at the till and I asked the server what kind of bagel would be best for a kid. She stared at me clueless “ohhhhh, any? I really don’t know”. Because there was a queue and she was staring at me with annoyance I decided to let the next customers go ahead. They bought a big bag of bagels and, after making me wait for 10 minutes the server just told me “sorry no more bagels”. We had to go after waiting at a filthy table. The place looks dirty and gloomy. The service is non existent. Worst place ever. Never coming back.
