We came to Edinburgh for my daughter's wedding and booked dinner here for 25 of us including children. The staff went above and beyond in making us feel like welcomed guest in their home. The food was delicious and the service was friendly and efficient. The atmosphere is very cool. They even went above and beyond and found a candle for a desert for a birthday in our group.
Huge indoor venue. Lots of local craft beers on tap. Comfortable seating and friendly staff. Very convenient location since it's simply across the street from the Waverly train station exit. Great for large groups. Very good live music too!
Schnitzel was perfection, Mac and cheese so creamy and flavorful and even the greens were perfectly cooked. Espresso martini was one of the best I’ve had and the atmosphere with live music was lively yet casual and relaxed.
Outstanding customer service. We were up from London via the airport, had luggage and no booking. Staff seated us thoughtfully to accommodate bags, were super helpful and very patient that we had to wait on a latecomer. I loved the allergy card QR code as normally it's tricky for me with dietary issues. Anya the waitress was really careful to ask exact questions in the kitchen to double check one potential issue and that wee extra meant I could order two dishes and have a relaxed meal when normally I'm stuck with the bread basket : The food was really good. Great selection of craft beers. The only thing I'd change: no live singing at 6pm on a Thursday trying to eat your dinner. And a way to tip or compliment staff who go above and beyond. If you have staff who make a pregnant woman, a dog owner, someone who is just one giant food allergy and a person who hasn't left zone 1 for so long they are impossible to please, treasure them. And you do. Will come back next trip. I would like drag queens on the side this time!
Came to Brewhemia for their boozy brunch with a group of friends when visiting Edinburgh and we couldn't recommend more! Staff were very helpful from the get go (they also gave recommendations for places to see in the city! . Thank you to our server who sadly I didn't catch her name. Choice of dishes was good, I got the pancakes and the rose wine. Will be back when I'm next in the city. Also, good live music. Guy on the guitar was fab!!
