Came in on a Sunday afternoon and enjoyed two sensational haggis sandwiches, each with a different accompanying breakfast product. So tasty, served on lovely fresh rolls. Service is speedy without being rushed. Quiet, peaceful upstairs seating area with wifi is perfect place to relax and consume. The coffee is also excellent. Wholeheartedly recommend! Ordered an Americano and took a seat, but had to leave after just 5 minutes because of the strong smell of cooking fumes throughout the café. The lady serving was very polite, but the coffee was only average. Food: 3 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 1
Went in on a cold windy day, could be any day here I suppose, I was reading the signs, first time in, and the syrups were what I believed to be paired. So vanilla and hazelnut then a wee space and the other flavours were there. Turns out that even though the syrups are individually flavoured that everyone written would make a fantastic combo. Soooooo, I went with the bottom one, white chocolate and burnt Orange. Which is two separate syrups, but don't let it out you off as it was immense! What a pairing, what an accidental pairing recommendation haha I got 2 flat whites one with the combo and one plain just in case. I wish I got two with the syrup combos. I will be back, got a cheeky croissant to go to and it was great. An interaction I won't forget and the place looks lovely, nice menu, great coffee, great staff. Seats up stairs. Get in and grab a syrup combo! Service: Takeaway Meal type: Breakfast Price per person: £1–10 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes: Croissant
Absolutely outstanding service today from the woman who took our order. We said we 'd share a hot chocolate and pastry, and not only did she cut the pastry in half but she went well above and beyond, separating the hot chocolate into two small cups, made perfectly with their own whipped cream and marshmallows! Such a kind touch when they were actually reasonably busy! Then the salted caramel hot chocolate was absolutely delicious and the perfect temperature. I 'll definitely try a coffee there next time especially if I see her serving again. It has a nice atmosphere upstairs too. I think the pastry was only ok and a little pricy but it was nice enough and the cafe is easily worth recommending. Only sorry we didn 't have any change for a tip this time will make it up next time! Thanks again, kind hot chocolate lady.
