Food For U - Edinburgh, City of

I ordered a take away, I collected it and took it home. One of the courses was a stater selection for 2 when I opened it I couldn 't believe (a) how awful it looked cold, greasy chips in a Chinese takaway!?? and (b) everything was so bland and of small portions that the cost of £18 for this part of the order alone was a shock. Take my advice and avoid this dump at all costs, there are many other places in the area that do decent food at a decent price. This place is just too awful for words.

I had the chicken and fried rice at this takeaway and it was disgusting, swimming in oil and stodgy, I won’t be using them again. I think being part of Just Eat makes for poor quality food.

I’ve been to Food for U a lot of times now and keep coming back because it’s so tasty. There are loads of options, and the food feels fresh, healthy (as healthy as you can get for a takeaway) and not ‘gloopy’ like a lot of takeaways are. There are also lots of good veggie options satay tofu really good! Would never change my Chinese takeaway place again!

It took 5 minutes until the order was finished. I don't get the complaining people. it's one of the best Chinese I had. everything was fresh, well cooked and delicious. I would choose it anytime!
