STaff here work really hard to ensure that customer expectations are not only met but exceeded. With a great and imaginative selection of breakfast/brunch/lunch and homebaking options, plus amazing range of hot and cold beverages and absolutely brilliant coffees served in a mug(not a paper cup! I usually really like this place but this visit was not great at all. The menu was reduced for some reason which was fine but the food on offer was poor quality. There was no soup left on the small menu, the toastie served to us those around us were burnt the cheese scone was a sweet scone with cheese added. Not good at all. We had a fantastic experience at Cobbs Forkinard. The staff, led by Cris, was attentive and the lunch was delicious. Thank you all, we will definitely be returning!
This charming café offers a wide variety of delicious cakes and scones. The staff was very friendly and attentive, and we didn't have to wait long to be served. The café was clean, the coffee was hot, and the atmosphere was peaceful. Overall, we couldn't have asked for a better experience.
We always visit this restaurant for their delicious scones, but today I was disappointed with my cheese scone. It had an added herb that made it not very enjoyable. It should not have been advertised as a cheese scone.
I come here regularly for coffee, the cafe is always clean and the staff very attentive. The food always looks freshly prepared. I have been here in the morning for their breakfast rolls which do not disappoint!
I had tomato and basil soup with a warm crusty roll. Soup was lovely. Not sure why the pumpkin soup was made with chicken stock though. As a vegetarian I love pumpkin soup!
