Description

Nestled in Eagle River, Lime Leaf delivers a polished, intimate dining experience with attentive service, artful presentation and a wide, fast-moving menu. Guests praise standout curries, sushi, pad Thai and decadent desserts, making it ideal for date nights, groups and celebrations. Portions and consistency generally impress, though a few diners reported uneven sushi/poke freshness, forgettable appetizers and higher prices. Suggestions include better dish pacing and adding a bar to elevate the upscale vibe. Clean, tasteful and welcoming, it’s a local gem worth returning to.

This is one of the nicer dining spots in ER. We chose it because sushi is generally a safe option. However, the waitress informed us that their California roll contains gluten, possibly because it’s made with surimi instead of real crab, which is common in AK. She recommended the pad thai and curries as gluten-free alternatives. I tried the pad thai with prawns and felt great the next day. My husband, who doesn’t have celiac disease, opted for a fancy sushi selection and absolutely loved it.

Lime Leaf is definitely a restaurant worthy of a 5-star review. I've been here several times now in 2023, and they are consistently good. The service is prompt and friendly, it doesn't even seem to matter who serves you that night, they're all great. The food comes quickly (like 10 minutes usually) and is delicious. The atmosphere is perfect for a meal where you want to connect with your dining companions. I'm so glad they don't have any TVs or other distractions. The music is always tasteful and compliments the atmosphere. Every time I go here, I'm glad I did and I'm happy to come back again in the future. I took my father-in-law here for his birthday in September, and he has been back several times on his own since and it's only December. Their prices are relatively high, but for someone like me who doesn't dine out very often, it's worth it for a consistently good experience.

The rice had a flavor that was unmatched with a little hint off smokey.

This place is a newly discovered gem! We had a date night here tonight with a group of 12 on a Sunday evening. We make it a point to try new restaurants every month, and I truly wish we had discovered this one sooner! Everything about this place was fantastic—the service, the ambiance, everything was spotless, and the food was exceptional! Since it’s not very well known yet, it wasn't crowded, so our meals arrived incredibly quickly. We started with their hot and sour soup as an appetizer (it’s my favorite at this type of restaurant), and I'm thrilled to say it's the best version I've ever tasted. The sushi rolls were also outstanding. To top it off, we ordered the tempura cheesecake, which came with ice cream in the center and fruits around the edges. Every one of the 12 of us left raving about our meals. The servers were amazing and catered to all the needs of our lively group. We’ll definitely be coming back here often!
