Kachina Kitchen
Description
**Kachina Kitchen: A Mixed Culinary Experience**
Kachina Kitchen, once a cherished childhood favorite, has faced criticism on multiple fronts. Diners lament the once vibrant flavors, now described as dull and lacking authenticity, particularly concerning their Navajo tacos. While some patrons appreciate the affordable menu and generous portions, others express disappointment over meal sizes and preparation inconsistencies. The stuffed sopapilla garners praise as a highlight, yet customers share experiences of unwelcoming service, particularly regarding drink policies. Ultimately, Kachina Kitchen's appeal may vary, leaving some longing for the past while others seek a taste of local, casual dining in southwestern Colorado.

In an effort to support local businesses, I've been going to Kachina kitchen every Wednesday for tacos. But they have Pepsi products and I prefer my caffeine free Coke. I realized they had a sign on the door that said no outside drinks. But you know I figured that meant don't bring in empty cups and refill them. This was a 12oz can. Well, long story short she said I can't eat there because I brought my own drink. Perhaps the customer isn't always right anymore, but I mean they know me. Why would they choose to lose $20 a week for no reason, just to prove a point? The lady has always been pleasant but she was pretty rude today. Support your local business I guess... Back to Taco Bell. I just figured they lost $800 a year in revenue from me because I brought in a drink, there was zero loss from them not selling me a Pepsi product because I wouldn't have bought that anyway. So I had to go outside and eat in my car.
Navajo isn't a Navajo taco. Please consider changing the name. As a proud full-blooded Diné, I find it quite embarrassing... It doesn't taste anything like an authentic Navajo taco.
