This place is absolutely stunning! It's a really cool spot to enjoy a meal. My only complaint is that the bun on my gluten-free sandwich was burned, while my partner's gluten version came with a nice, fluffy bun. The ice cream is made from the James Ranch eggs and milk and it's great. (we had to buy all the flavours). You can truly taste the quality.
I am from Indiana. The food was fantastic. I especially loved the COCONUT SODA. The view of the mountains was breathtaking. Would suggest to anyone to come and experience a unique place to eat.
Happened upon this gem of a spot while exploring the Animas valley and was pleasantly surprised. The market attendant who was a member of the family was very accommodating and eager to share the history and ethos of the ranch and associated businesses. I support the hyper local food movement and the “table on farm” concept was executed beautifully. A highlight of my trip and an easy recommendation for friends and family.
Fun little store with high quality produce. I will say that while you can expect to pay higher prices for some products, it's to be expected considering the cost of producing at smaller scale. I will definitely be back to try more meats, cheeses, and produce.
We have heard from a few YouTube channels from this site, so we decided to turn on. it wasn't disappointed. we had the bbq bacon blue cheese burger and the mushroom burger with fingerfries. they can sit on the deck and enjoy watching how the clouds roll or hike the real work farm on the ground. this restaurant is a real farm to table experience and I highly recommend it!
