We have a hard time finding a restaurant where everyone can eat in our family, but James Ranch has something everyone likes, my kids included. My husband has celiac, and we have eaten here twice, and he hasn't gotten sick. Pricey, but worth the money!

The view is incre... read more This is a really cute place! You can tell a lot of hard work and dedication has gone into making this a reality and I’m really happy for them. The view is incredible. The hay straws are really neat and I wish it was an option to have hay straws more places. The burger was really good. I wasn’t a fan of the dressing that came with the beet salad and the goat cheese didn’t taste as tangy as goat cheese typically does but those are personal preferences that are my own taste and doesn’t subtract from their overall quality. The tractor soda was great and the rootbeer float with homemade vanilla bean ice cream was refreshing!

This place is amazing. It’s not just a grill, it’s a market and farm and cheese store! A beautiful mecca. At the grill I got their Vegetarian Burger- I was expecting a mixed vegetable burger but what I got was so incredible juicy -it was a piece of squash cut to fit a burger roll, that was grilled and so delicious. There is free tap water and plenty of picnic benches spread out upon the grass.
