Delicious vegan scrolls (I tried both the cinnamon and the sweet almond). The staff was also very nice, they closed, so we have a few extra scrolls! Beautiful fun atmosphere also

Maggie's offers delicious vegan options both from the cabinet and made to order. We tried the tasty mushroom toast on seedy bread, museli with coconut yoghurt and a poached pear, as well as coffee and a beautiful loaf of sourdough bread. The flavors in all the dishes were amazing, and there were plenty of other salty and sweet options to choose from. The cafe has a cute and sociable environment, filled with cool people.

I tried the vegan cardamom and caramel scroll from their cabinet which had a yummy flavor, but it was a bit doughy. However, my main reason for giving a low rating is the presence of unnerving taxidermy animals around the cafe, including a duck and a deer's head. This may not be the best place to visit if you are sensitive to this kind of display of dead animals. On a positive note, the coffee was good. This review was updated on January 20, 2023.

I enjoyed stopping by this cafe for coffee during my last visit, and now I see it's listed on HappyCow. I met up with friends here and even ran into some family unexpectedly. We sat in a booth in the fairly spacious and unique environment. In addition to my two large oat lattes, I also tried a slice of the banana walnut bread, which was decent. It's a great spot to socialize over coffee in a city that doesn't have many vegetarian cafes serving coffee.
