1908 Cafe - Dunedin
1908 Cafe
Description
Housed in a charming period building on the bay, this cozy bistro serves thoughtful, often excellent seafood and standout dishes like lamb shank and a generous burger, backed by a carefully chosen wine list and friendly, allergy-aware staff. It’s a popular stop for tourists and locals seeking intimate, relaxed dining and outdoor seating on fine days. Service and consistency can vary—occasional slow orders, charged share plates and uneven steaks have been noted—yet many return for the warm atmosphere and reliably pleasurable evenings.
