The Tayview Hotel Has the restaurant open for meals and takeaway food. We had a lovely meal there was 6 people and the starters were amazing everyone loved them, the main courses were the same everyone loved the meals compliments to the chef and the waitresses were lovely. Please go to the Tayview for an Indian Meal you will enjoy and definitely return for another meal. View all feedback.
What Anonym dislikes about Tayview Indian:
Oh my lord avoid this place. Fancied an Indian curry but wanted something a little better than a simple takeaway so I ordered here based on it being a restaurant. We had missing food, tinned heinz macaroni for £11.50 and my bhuna (pictured below) was swimming in water. My girlfriends vegetable passanda was totally flavourless and put in the bin (also pictured below). Haggis pakora was interesting but this meal was £6... View all feedback.

Lovely place with friendly staff and excellent food! The rooms are quiet but with everything expected from the amenities, and very comfortable.
Very disappointing experience at the Tayview Hotel restaurant. We waited over an hour for our food to arrive, despite the restaurant not appearing particularly busy. To make matters worse, our order was initially taken to the wrong table and then brought to us afterwards, which was quite concerning. When the food finally arrived, it was cold and clearly not fresh. We were also overcharged on our bill, which added further frustration to an already poor experience. What was most disappointing was the complete lack of apology or acknowledgement from the staff. There was no attempt to explain the delays, address the mistakes, or offer any goodwill gesture. Unfortunately, the combination of extremely slow service, cold food, billing errors, and poor customer service made this a very unpleasant dining experience. I would not recommend the restaurant based on our visit

I want to give a big shoutout to the dedicated staff at the Tayview Hotel. My family and I enjoyed a fantastic Christmas dinner there. The delicious food, accompanied by a few glasses of red wine, and the impeccable service made it a truly memorable day. Thank you to all involved.
Dundee's best hidden gem. The food is exceptional, the staff are fantastic, and the prices are worth checking out. Overall, a very good experience.
We decided last minute to visit this restaurant with one child and two adults. We ordered North Indian garlic chicken, rice, chips, and chapati for the adults, and mac n cheese for the child. The meals were delicious and we will definitely return. The service was also excellent.
It has been a while since we visited, because of the pandemic and isolation. Enjoyed a first class meal here again. The food was excellent. Nice regional dishes which were full of flavours. Staff helpful, and the owner friendly. He came over to our table and was chatting, made us feel very welcome. Will definitely be back, and soon
