We waited over an hour for our food to arrive, despite the restaurant not appearing particularly... read more Very disappointing experience at the Tayview Hotel restaurant. We waited over an hour for our food to arrive, despite the restaurant not appearing particularly busy. To make matters worse, our order was initially taken to the wrong table and then brought to us afterwards, which was quite concerning. When the food finally arrived, it was cold and clearly not fresh. We were also overcharged on our bill, which added further frustration to an already poor experience. What was most disappointing was the complete lack of apology or acknowledgement from the staff. There was no attempt to explain the delays, address the mistakes, or offer any goodwill gesture. Unfortunately, the combination of extremely slow service, cold food, billing errors, and poor customer service made this a very unpleasant dining experience. I would not recommend the restaurant based on our visit

We ordered North Indian garlic chicken, rice, chips, and chapati for the adults, and mac n cheese for the child. The meals were delicious and we will definitely return. The service was also excellent.
