Reviews - Mozza Dundee
Reviews summary
The restaurant Mozza in Dundee offers a variety of Italian pizzas with fresh ingredients and delicious flavors. While the staff was friendly and welcoming, there were some issues with service due to being understaffed. The COVID protocols were well-followed, and the venue was clean. The pizzas were described as perfect and generous, with a wide selection that includes vegan options. Despite some minor service drawbacks, Mozza is recommended for a decent lunch or dinner in Dundee, especially for those looking for authentic Italian pizza. Overall, Mozza is a great spot for delicious pizza in a relaxed environment.

The pizza at this restaurant is incredibly delicious and comes in a large size with a variety of topping options to choose from. The spicy Italian broccoli side dish was also very tasty. However, it is important to eat the pizza promptly as it tends to get cold quickly. I also enjoyed the Nutty Berry Kiss cocktail, which was a good value for the price. Overall, this is a reliable spot that I will definitely be return... View all feedback.
What Mr Baird's History dislikes about Mozza Dundee:
The restaurant was understaffed today, even though it was quite busy. We had to wait a while at the end of our meal, but the young woman who was working did her best to assist us. The food all seemed to be very similar in nature. The pizza dough looked good, but it was lacking in flavor, possibly due to being under-seasoned. Additionally, all the toppings slid off the pizza immediately, which is not a good sign. Whil... View all feedback.

Ordered 4 pizzas and two sides via Deliveroo. Two of the Pizzas were missing ingredients and the sides were not delivered. The dough was uncooked in places. Not what we wanted, as of you order something that has a main ingredient and that is not present, it alters the taste somewhat, but once your order is delivered, what can you do? EDIT as a result of this review I was contacted by the company and invited to communicate by email. I did so, explaining the issues related above. My concerns were listened to and addressed and I was assured the matters would be looked into. I am very impressed with their response and, although this does not change my view of the poor meal, I am hopeful it will not happen again.
The pizza was really good, both sourdough and toppings. Desserts a bit deceptive, cheesecake was rather a smooth cream, but not bad.
Awful, just awful. To start with the bench we were sitting on was covered in sand. We then ordered and our three pizzas were brought out. One pizza was correct, the second had mushrooms although it was asked to be without mushrooms and the third was completely wrong! To be fair to the waitress she almost immediately realised there had been a mistake and returned the 2 wrong pizzas but didn’t come back to tell us what was happening. This led to myself finishing my pizza before the other 2 people had even got theirs. We were offered a free drink to make up for it. Well whoopee for that. That wasn’t the worst part though. The pizza was an abomination. Easily the worst I’ve ever had. Cold, undercooked and burnt at the same time (you could still make out the individual bits of grated cheese that hadn’t melted properly and parts of the crust were cremated) how do you even manage that? The tomato sauce was utterly tasteless hello have you ever heard of seasoning? When the waiter came to clear our plates at the end he didn’t even ask how our food was. Well he was told in no uncertain terms what we thought. To be fair he did give us a 20% discount but I wouldn’t of fed that pizza to a dog. A disgrace and an embarrassment to Italy and Italians everywhere. Won’t be back

We were in Scotland and stopped by dundee. we really wanted a pizza and we found this place on google. I am Italian and I can say that the pizza of mozza dundee is amazing! it's soft and not hard how many pizzas are. the ingredients are also great. the prices are super (especially when they live in london.) so definitiw a visit worth.
Warm welcome and clear explanation as to how their COVID systems operated. The pizzas here are great and large, you won't leave hungry and there's a wide selection. The freshly made basil pesto was a fantastic addition and well worth the small extra charge that they make.
I loved the pizza Mozza. It took time for the preparation but the wait was worth it. Amazing taste. Value for Money 5/5 Taste 5/5 Ambiance 5/5
Excellent pizza, the staff was little bit accurate about masks, we had a table about 2 metres from the door. They never asked if the meal was OK, they were walking around with their eyes down so there was no chance for eye contact to call them to the table even the place was not busy. Less than 10 people. Had to wait and ask for a bill to get a waiter. For this behaviour never again.
