My dining partner and I ordered the pickerel,... read more I have always had a great experience at Collins restaurant, but on Saturday June 19th, things were not up to par. My dining partner and I ordered the pickerel, which was the Catch of the Day. When our meals arrived, the portions of pickerel were extremely small - much smaller than expected. It was only a quarter of what we anticipated, leading us to joke that they must have given my other half to someone else! Despite the small portion, the pickerel was delicious and I wished there was more of it. However, based on this experience, I am unlikely to order the Catch of the Day again or recommend it to others. The other members of our group had the Schnitzel, which was good but slightly overcooked. Their portions, on the other hand, were generous. I will still return to Collins in the future, but I will be more careful in my menu selections.
