East Side Mario's - Dundas

Preface: I have always enjoyed various locations of this chain with family. I had never been to this location before and I’m not sure if what we experienced reflects the entire chain or just the sad, pathetic location. When we arrived at the restaurant, it was about 1/4 full but the wait time was said to be 30 minutes. We were seated at 8:45 but the restaurant closed at nine.… On a Wednesday evening? The first wine we ordered was not available. so we were forced to order a similar which was the most expensive. When I ordered soup, they were out of the one I wanted. We were told to order quickly, so they didn’t have to “keep the dishwashers overtime” . Before we were done, we were asked if we wanted a box for our meal. No desserts nor coffee were offered. It is clear that this place is months from going out of business. Please don’t go here. I suggest they close next week and save everyone the aggravation of actually having to suffer eating at this horrible place.

We enjoyed our lunch! The prices are very reasonable! One had the Seafood Linguine and one had the Spaghettini and Meatballs. The food was served hot! Our server was very pleasant.

This is my go to stop after work for a drink the bartender Heather is always friendly and prompt with service. The chicken parm is also fantastic

Stopped in while I was in the area to pick up some takeout, good service, good price, and good food :

I went to this location a few nights ago with a friend. After a short time on the wait list we were seated and immediately brought bread and drinks. Our server was friendly and attentive and even the manager came over to make sure everything was perfect. The food, service and atmosphere was top notch!
