The Cannery - Dunalley
The Cannery
Description
Nestled along the stunning waterfront, this restaurant boasts a picturesque outdoor deck that enhances its charm. Diners have enjoyed a mix of exquisite seafood dishes, with highlights including a flavorful seafood linguine and perfectly cooked steak. While most service is friendly and attentive, inconsistency has been noted, with some patrons experiencing less-than-stellar interactions. The ambiance varies from lively to tranquil, depending on the time of visit. Although opinions on food quality and pricing differ, the establishment remains a tempting option for both casual meals and special occasions in the Tasman Peninsula. Overall, it's a dining experience worth considering.

The service was outstanding, and the staff were wonderful individuals. The food was exceptional, particularly the tacos! I highly recommend this place.
The location is a good choice if you're staying in or passing through the area, but keep in mind that it’s somewhat remote, which also adds to its charm and relaxation. Since we arrived late, there were hardly any other customers, making the atmosphere quite tranquil. They offer several tables both inside and outside. A pleasant surprise was the availability of WiFi, as I've found that relatively few restaurants in Australia offer it based on our experiences in 2024.

Food was good but a little pricey for the portion size if ordering seafood. The other foods looked good. The view out of the window where we were seated was great. Worth a night out there. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: A$40–60 Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
