My sister suggested we call in to this restaurant on our way to Safety Cove. What a very pleasant experience when we decided to have our lunch here. The mulled wine was exceptional and the scallop rissotto was delicious and beautifully presented which we all decided to order. The scenery made this lunch stop perfect with water and hills to look at as we dined. The service was friendly and our wait time for our lunch... View all feedback.

Coffee was good and the cake was nice but I think $19 for 2 coffees and a piece of cake was overpriced. Have had better for a more reasonable price elsewhere
We stumbled accrooss this place on google maps whilst planning our trip to Port Arthur. Looking for a lunch location we worked out we would be around Dunalley at this time. Wow, so glad we did. Beautifully presented venue, we chose the oyster tasting plate to share and a glass of the local vino. All I can say is choose this, savour the taste sensation for hours after. Its all you need
I basing this review on what my wife and sister in law said as unfortunately I was giving toddler duties. The location is on the way from Hobart to Port Arthur. Well worth the stop as it's a family run vineyard and they take huge pride in their wines. The tastings was a delight and the wines were really good. Probably one of the better cellars in the Hobart region. Didn't taste the Oysters. Opted for the cheaper dozen at Barilla. Didn't need to guilt buy. The Pinot Gris will work well with many of our favourite dishes.
Lucky we got there early on Sunday for lunch as we didnt have a booking and they were super busy. We had a lovely mean of Oysters for Entre, they were large fresh and plump. Main we had a Smoked Seafood Chowder and Rissotto. Both were absolutely delicous. Washed down with the Pinot Gris. Lovely. The meal, service and the surroundings were first class. I have been here twice before and I have always had great food and service.I would highly recommend Bangor, worth the drive from Hobart for some lovely scenery and a fantastic meal. (in the summer you can enjoy your meal outside on the deck or have a drink out on the lawn)
